My husband and I also have a dream of owning a motorhome! Our dogs would love it too. The Winnebago Ekko is so cool! Definitely our dream option

It has off road/off grid capacity and so much functional storage! We’d love something to take up forest service roads. The dry/wet bathroom would also be great if you need a quick shower - it has a cool pivoting wall

The off grid element sounds magic, we’d want to be able to go up in the alps for a few days without being dependent on sites…. Brilliant! Thanks for sharing

This was hugely inspirational for me. One of my goals for the summer is to get a sketchbook and return to my long-forgotten habit of sketching daily. I love the idea of sketching one's dreams into reality. I think I'll try that. I look forward to seeing your motorhome! A pink interior would be lovely.

I’m so glad Caitlin!! I started sketching daily again about 6 months ago and it’s been a game changer. I draw for my work as an embroidery artist but it’s a completely different type of drawing and embroidery is very time consuming so these sketches is a liberation for me. I’m voting you should get that sketchbook today 🤩🙌

I'm glad to hear it's been really beneficial for you. I'm also an embroidery artist and over the past few years my only sketches have been designs for my art. I mostly stitch my poetry into clothing (like vintage slip dresses) but I also create whimsical, magical, fairy tale animals and the like. I agree that I need to get a sketchbook sooner rather than later. Thanks for inspiring me.

Wonderful Hi Trevy! Have you been to Sweden to know more about your heritage? I’m as Swedish as it gets in terms of ancestry haha and yet I never felt fully at home there, the sense of home is a funny thing! Love it here in Belgium though,

Of course I’ll bring you along!! I’m aiming to incorporate more and more of my drawing in this space, it will be fun 💫

I really don't know much about my swedish family! I do a little drawing too, very amateur but I really enjoy it and it's fun to see others' work. Glad to meet you❣️

My dream was to live by the ocean. Where I could see it everyday. The dream took hold in 2019. By the end of 2022 we were downsizing our family home and moving into our seaside cottage with a dock for our boat. I go in the ocean every morning and have a view from every room in my house. I feel so lucky. ❤️

Oh gosh it sounds marvelous! And downsizing is a freedom in itself on so many levels… cheaper, less cleaning, less hassle, more quality 💞

Love this dream! I can’t wait to see how and when this comes to be. ✨

My dream is to live by water, which I can walk down to, surrounded my nature. 🥰

I know it’s going to happen. I look at houses online all the time. Trying to decide where I’m the country would give me my dream home. Walking past homes and envisioning myself walking down from it to the water’s edge. 🥰🥰

Oh I love this Mika I’m the same haha looking at houses all the time envisioning how it would be to live there haha right now though I’m actually in a home that I truly love for the first time since my adult life… so that’s a blessing. Right now there’s no other place I’d want to be - you’re invited for coffee should you find yourself on this side of the world 🥰

I just realized I have the same dream: I want to become self-employed (somehow), remotely work from my laptop (preferably writing), and endlessly tour around Europe with my wife in a motorhome (I think she’d love that).

We've had 2 VW Westfalia vans and traveling/camping in them has been a blast. Not good for a family but fine for just 2. I love your drawings and dreaming what yours will eventually look like. I'm a huge proponent of images for creating what we wish for. Thoughts (and pictures) have wings!

Oooooh love love, my husband and I definitely see ourselves adventuring way beyond the kid years too so it’s always good to consider different options!

And absolutely, I’ll bring you along all the way. I want to incorporate more of my art in this space, I’ve been experimenting along and got an epiphany that I dont show it enough!!

That's great, Elin. I really enjoy your drawings. Glad you'll be posting more. The sketches of your van to be look really cool. The Westfalia is good b/c it's easy to maneuver, as not so large. Of course it's small and no b/r and sometimes getting dressed at night to find the facilities has been a challenge. Most of my camper friends have vans w/ that included.

Right it’s always the maneuver thing to consider too! Always so many aspects 💫

SHELL 🐚 YES to feeding your vision with physical, real, loving, creative energy! I sing manifestation mantras (and guide others) to create a specific vision—the goddess is in the details! I sing it often, so it becomes an earworm—a jingle that gets totally stuck. Here's my current mantra:

"Sunny and warm, a place by the Sea,

with space for me, to sing and share my Magick."

PS: I love Van life, as it's called in the US. We bought our 1990 VW Westfalia when our daughter was 2. It's tiny but so well-designed and decently efficient to drive as a vehicle, too. Kids love it—like a fort!

Love this Christine so powerful!! We contemplated on a smaller one but now that we’re four we’ll probably opt for one that has a but more space (mostly so that we could go for a couple of months to south of Europe over winter should we wish to, as we aim to homeschool the girls 💞)

Wonderful! Yes 🙌🏽 the space is nice. We toured New Zealand with my sister’s family and their big motorhome was so comfy

Dream big because it will happen! Years ago my husband and I dreamed about a camper just like the one you drew above and after many years we bought it! We walked in and knew it was exactly what we wanted. It was a spur of the moment decision and we had zero regrets. After a few years we decided that we needed something a bit larger and looked and looked, went to RV shows and couldn't find what we were looking for until we found a slightly used Airstream trailer. I had always wanted one but we could never afford a brand new one. We traded in our RV and negotiated a deal for the Airstream and we could not be any happier! You will get the RV of your dreams!

Dear Deb I love seeing you here it brings me so much joy! And to know that you have a motorhome too is magic!!

I’ve been looking at loads of second hand ones but due to so much trouble with our cars the last couple of years (you know the story) Charles is with good reason quite sceptical and would prefer a new one… we have the idea to potentially rent it out the times we don’t use it to hopefully make it pay for itself or at least cover the extra costs of getting a new one vs an older one… lots of possibilities!!

Elin, We did buy new for our first RV and it was great, no issues at all and we went everywhere in it. I understand how Charles feels about buying new after your car issues. I think you will love having a home on the road, there is nothing like it.

Elin, really enjoyed reading this post. The dream of having a motor home and traveling is actually a reality that can happen because of belief that it's possible. I believe that life in general is that way. I had a wrestling coach ask me one time before a big match that 'if you go into this match tomorrow thinking you will lose, thinking there is no way you can win, guess what you're ensuring will happen?' While the topic is completely different, the core meaning is identical. His message and yours are the same. Believe in it - in whatever it is you are pursuing. Believe.

Thank you for sharing this Jim! And you’re right it’s absolutely the same. Having been a tennis coach for many years there are a lot of things to be learnt from sports that translates into creative practice too !

Oh I love the sound of vintage camper- I’d take a vintage camper over a new one any day, but with the kids and having had lots of bad luck with old cars we’re probably gonna try to save for something newer. I love your artwork, and this manifestation. May I also add that 'impossible' is only 'I'm possible' without the space - that helps us to realise it can happen, AND be real!

Love this Elin!

Even on a boring rational neurosciencitific level it makes so much sense to draw the dreams. I may be weird but I love the science behind fun, creative and spiritual things.

Like with a vision board or writing things down, the experience and interaction with the content will bring you closer! Bringing the spiritual and practical together priming your brain for what’s to come 😍

So keep em coming, so here for making dreams reality!

Thanks Carmen!! And you know what, I’m nerdy about the backside too - it’s super fascinating. Actually I enjoy the backside and to find ways of simplifying it in easy and beautiful ways for the viewer… 🥰

Maybe you should make some vision sketches of where you’d like to be in a dream world…. I know it’s a difficult situation with lots of decisions and perhaps drawing it will make things feel more clear or soothing ….. 💞

Funny you mention it. At the start of the year I was actually playing with the idea of picking simple images / symbols and embroidering the vision for a change to really, deeply, engage with the vision in the most embodied way.

No time / mental capacity sadly but yes, sketching, writing, dreaming, and lighting a candle alongside the process has been holding me for years, and right now especially! 😇 but you’re right, for a change more drawing than writing could soothe the brain more.

Potentially yes! Because to even find formulation and words in certain season can be really hard… drawing is more forgiving that it doesn’t have to make sense it’s just the matter of “being in movement” you’ve got this 🙏🏼🥰
