The greatest privilege in life is to be witnessed and to witness.
To be witnessed for who you are, as opposed to a number on a spread-sheet is rare in today’s digital reality. Even when it comes to mentoring.
We’re all told to maximise our output with group-programs or one-to-many approaches.
This is why I’m doing the opposite…
We don’t need more mass, we need support at the grass-root level. We need more humanness that allows you to be seen for who you are and where you’re at on your creative journey.
To become an artist isn’t just about figuring out how to make money. It’s about reframing your entire relationship to work and what defines as work.
For years I struggled with guilt whenever I pursued my art, feeling as though I “should be working”, when truly… My art was always work!
I’ve been on the independent artist journey for soon a decade, moving across countries multiple times and added two kids to the show.
Through the years I’ve worked with luxury brands, hosted and partaken in art exhibitions across Europe, published an artbook Mindful Embroidery with McMillan (2020) and taught the art of modern hand embroidery through physical and online classes to thousands of students.

The difference between being a business for business’ sake vs. business on the back of an intense passion (art) is that the former can be scheduled, structured and tamed into a “do this, then that”.
Building a business for the purpose of supporting your dream of life as an artist on the other hand, is a wild ride and has to be approached with gentleness and absolute flexibility.
There is no one size fits all and what feels good today may not feel good tomorrow, which is why I purposefully want to offer a space where these shifts are possible. Where I can witness you on your journey and hold space for you where and when you need it.
