Great piece Elin. The topic of my class tonight was “the reframe” - reframing what it feels to show up and do your work no matter what (trolls and all) and it is work at times. 😅✨
Thanks Claire so glad you enjoyed it 🥰 it sure is work! And it’s easy to let that work overshadow the rest if we don’t remind ourselves about the golden stuff (which thankfully is the majority 💖)
Great piece. I believe you're an artist. This post is a testament ro that. I agree we measure our success with the success of others. I've come to.the conclusion that we are artist...let our art say it all.
Ah so glad fulfillment instead of success resonated. Thank you for the mention.
It’s so energising to hear how you ignored the thoughts of a teacher, someone who could have dampened your spirit with their own lack of trust in the process. I feel like your work is the antidote to all those kinds of teachers (and parents)!
Thank you Sarina! Your support always energizes me when I feel lost on track. It’s fascinating to think about in the aftermath, because I never twice considered that her worry should mean that I shouldn’t go for it…. I more so felt pity for her I suppose that she felt so limited in her own practise. Contrary to what many art critics will say; I think to work with your art every day even in the form of teaching, is a big step in the right direction. Heck, your artistic peak may still be ahead of you

Sure is. Taking a moment to be proud tonight! ✨🎯✨
Celebrating you 🥰
Excited for this replay
Ugh, comparison is a scourge. If we could all stay in our own lanes and focus on our own projects, how much happier we all would be!
💯✨💜
I'd love my feet on the grass too! The naysayers can take a backseat cuz I ain't stopping 💜 awesome piece Elin!
Love that Mohika - don’t stop won’t stop 🎊💥✨
